Long Arc Quad - Laq - Knee Extension

This exercise strengthens the quadriceps by extending the knee from a seated position.

Instructions

  1. 1Sit in a chair with your knee bent.
  2. 2Slowly straighten your knee while raising your foot.
  3. 3Hold for a moment at the top.
  4. 4Lower your foot back to the starting position.
  5. 5Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Programming Recommendations

We recommend performing 3 sets of 10 repetitions, once or twice daily unless directed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
