
Hamstring Stretch With Towel
This stretch targets the hamstrings using a towel to assist in pulling the leg up.
Instructions
- 1Lie on your back with one leg extended.
- 2Hook a towel under your foot of the extended leg.
- 3Gently pull the leg up until a stretch is felt.
- 4Keep the knee straight during the stretch.
- 5Hold for 15-30 seconds and repeat.
Programming Recommendations
We recommend performing 3 sets of 10 repetitions, once or twice daily unless directed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
