Accessibility

HEP.pro is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to apply best practices and standards to make our AI-powered home exercise program builder usable, understandable, and robust for everyone.

1. Conformance Status

Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. While we continually work to improve accessibility, some elements of our site may not yet fully meet these guidelines.

2. Measures to Support Accessibility

HEP.pro takes the following measures to enhance accessibility:

  • Ongoing Reviews: Regular internal audits and user testing with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard-only navigation).
  • Staff Training: Accessibility awareness and WCAG training for our design, development, and content teams.
  • User Feedback: Channels to report barriers and suggest improvements (see Section 5).

3. Accessibility Features

  1. Keyboard Navigation
    • All interactive controls (buttons, form fields, links) are operable via keyboard-only input.
    • Focus indicators clearly highlight the active element.
  2. Screen Reader Compatibility
    • Proper use of semantic HTML (ARIA landmarks, headings, lists).
    • Alt text for all meaningful images and icons.
  3. Visual Design
    • Sufficient color contrast between text and background (minimum 4.5:1).
    • Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  4. Captions & Transcripts
    • Any audio or video content includes captions or provides a transcript.
  5. Error Identification & Suggestions
    • Form validation errors are clearly announced and suggestions for correction are provided.

4. Technical Specifications

We use modern web technologies and frameworks designed with accessibility in mind:

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+
  • ARIA roles and properties to enhance assistive technology support
  • Responsive design ensures usability on various devices and screen sizes
