This exercise strengthens the shoulder through internal rotation using an elastic band.

Instructions

  1. 1Tie the elastic band at elbow height on a door.
  2. 2Place a towel between your arm and body.
  3. 3Hold the band and bend your elbow to 90 degrees.
  4. 4Rotate your shoulder inward while pulling the band.
  5. 5Return to the starting position and repeat.

Programming Recommendations

We recommend performing 3 sets of 10 repetitions, once or twice daily unless directed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
